A furry round ball with shiny onion eyes is Neeva the bear cub. On a sunny March day, he and his mother bear crawled out of the den for the first time and went to explore the world. The world turned out to be wonderful: Neeva tasted many delicious things - frogs, roots, berries... The bright sun was blowing a gentle warmth, and near was his mother: the strongest, the smartest, the most caring. The bear cub was happy. But one day their way was crossed by a hunter who needed lard and meat to get to the factory: he ran out of food. And the bear cub's fate was sealed. And the orphaned bear cub was waiting for the bitterness of loss and an unexpected friendship with the heady and ridiculous puppy Miki. It would seem that the little ones could not survive alone in this cruel world, but as an old Indian would say, these brothers were protected by the goddess Isku Wapu. They will escape from the bloodthirsty inhabitants of the thicket, find their way to the fertile lands and get stronger from the nourishing food - but then their paths will unexpectedly diverge.... For middle school age children.
