The main part of the book presents readers with 75 of Karjakin's best games, which vividly reveal a characteristic feature of his style - a harmonious combination of a fine understanding of the position with a great sense of dynamics. The games are grouped by academic topics: attacking the king; attacking in the center and on the queenside; two-flank strategy; opening victories; symmetrical pawn structure in the center; positional sacrifice; defense and counterattack; and the endgame. The author is an international grandmaster, honored coach of Russia. "The author does not overload the fascinating notes with computerized versions, but supplies useful instructional explanations, which allows us to consider the collection as a kind of textbook on all three stages of a chess game," writes Sergey Koryakin in the preface to the book.
