Howl. Kaddish. Poems 1952-1960
19.99 €
Allen Ginsberg is an icon of the beat movement, a visionary poet whose defiantly daring poems have always been a bombshell, outraging philistines and delighting hipsters, outcasts, and rebels. The ecstatic "Howl" and the confessional "Kaddish" - poetry collections that made Ginsberg famous and secured his place in the pantheon of counterculture - are published in Russian for the first time in their entirety in a new translation by Dmitry Manin. The introductory article and commentary to the collection were prepared by philosopher and literature researcher Dmitry Haustov. The publication was created in cooperation with the Allen Ginsberg Estate.
