Nathan Yakovlevich Eidelman was a historian, literary critic, writer, and publicist whose contribution to the national historiography of the twentieth century can hardly be overestimated. Eidelman's scientific interests was the history of Russian culture and social movement in the XVIII-XIX centuries.
