Klaus Grünewald is the founder of the first school of medical pedicure in Germany, a teacher with international teaching experience, and a podiatrist. In 2000, he was awarded the ZFD Association award. From 1993 to 1997, he was the Secretary General of the FIP-IFP (International Federation of Podiatrists), and a participant and organizer of national and international congresses in Germany, Belgium, and the USA. He is the author of the textbook "The Theory of Medical Foot Care" and articles in the journals "DER FUSS" and "PODOLOGIE PRAXIS". The first volume of this publication covers issues of foot dermatology, the basics of skin structure, describes diseases of the nails, skin, as well as various forms of hyperkeratosis, warts, and nail changes. Here you will also find descriptions of commonly used instruments. Most of the book is devoted to medications and their effect on the skin. Thus, separate chapters describe in detail the use of therapeutic agents in foot therapy. The organizational section describes the actions of a podiatrist — A medical pedicure specialist's manual, designed to optimize the workflow, also includes a patient card with all necessary terminology and professional abbreviations. This book is a comprehensive training manual for anyone involved in podiatry and medical pedicure.
