We live in a dynamic era balancing two key tipping points. One is the current interplay between the "old" - reductive musculoskeletal anatomy as we have understood it since the time of Vesalius - and the more "holistic" vision implied by the Anatomical Train Model, fractal mathematics, systems theory, and the plethora of recent research on myofascial force transmission. This book has attempted to "turn" these two ends in such a way as to help them meet. Applying the myofascial meridian lines of the Anatomical Trains to gait dynamics (rather than compensatory posture patterns as originally put into practice) represents an exciting new direction for the development of the Anatomical Trains model.
