Andrei Bely (1880–1934) was one of the key figures of the Silver Age, whose work became an integral part of the cultural life of that era. He made history not only as a poet and prose writer, but also as a subtle thinker who sought to understand the deepest processes of the human soul and world culture. His poems are striking in their unusual imagery. In them, the mystical and metaphysical coexist with a sharp modernity. This collection allows us to once again hear the voice of Bely, one of the most significant innovators of the first half of the 20th century.
