Beatriz is a young and graceful lady from Barcelona, a mother of two children, a banker's wife, and an active member of the Concert Circle of music lovers. One day the Concert Circle invites to perform in Barcelona a Polish pianist Witold, whose surname has so many "ch" letters that no one can pronounce it and everyone calls him just a Pole.
