Amor is an autobiographical psychological novel written by Anastasia Tsvetaeva (1894-1993), a recognized master of the memoir genre. The edition is expanded from an authorized typescript and presents the text as the author herself wanted it to appear in print. The book is supplemented by the section "From Nika's Notebook": these are poems written especially for the novel, and they are published in unabridged form for the first time. Nika, the heroine of the novel, writes her life for the protagonist, Moritz, in order to be understood by him. She tells him about her experiences, about the height of her feelings and overcoming and calls him to this height. At the same time he tells her about his hobbies, about his life. Gradually Nika realizes that she needs to describe a difficult, tragic period of her life path rather for self-understanding, for herself. The novel "Amor" complements the famous two-volume "Memories" by Anastasia Tsvetaeva.
