The book by G.V. Glazyrina (1952-2016), which is being published for the second time in English with minor corrections and summaries, was originally published in 2002. It is devoted to the study of the "Saga of Ingvar the Traveler," created by an Icelandic cleric during the Crusades. The publication includes the text of the monument in the original, its translation into Russian, and a historical and philological commentary. The introductory article describes the manuscript tradition, oral and written sources of the work, and analyzes its conceptual and artistic features.
