If you eat chocolate cake, can you describe its taste? If you don't like zucchini, can you explain why? What colors of food attract you most? We think we know everything about food, but in reality, it is full of mysteries. The lecturer believes that preparing and consuming food is far from a boring, mundane process. It is a way to explore a world in which exchange is constantly taking place. Simply by sitting next to someone, we unconsciously give them some of our body water, which evaporates into the air they breathe, and they give their water back to us. The earth is a cauldron, and we humans exist in it together with animals, fish, plants, water—and the words that describe all of this. In this eternal movement lies the great mystery of life and death.
