Caesarius has been close since childhood with his slave brother, a talented groom and hippiatrist, and wants to make him a free man. The conflict between Caesarius and his father takes place against the backdrop of the Arian heresy, which is tearing the Church apart, regarding the inequality of the Father and the Son in the Trinity.
