The book “Mayakovsky’s Resurrection” was first published in Munich in 1985 (was awarded the Vladimir Dahl Prize), was published in Russia in 1990, causing a storm of criticism, enthusiastic and indignant responses, making the poet and philologist Yuri Karabchievsky famous, and for many years it was not republished.

The new edition is accompanied by an introductory article by Olga Timofeeva, philologist and journalist, editor of the first Russian edition of the book. She wrote not only about Yuri Arkadyevich Karabchievsky, but also how this book was read then, in the early 1990s, and how it is read now.
