It would seem that there can be in common between an astronomer of the XVIII century and a lonely realtor of our days? You think it's okay? However, in the story of Antoine Loren, they are connected by a telescope and a planet named after the goddess of love.
The story begins with an acquaintance with Guillaume Legendil, an astronomer of King Louis XV. In March 1760, he left France and headed for the shores of India in order to capture a rare astronomical phenomenon - the transit of Venus. However, what was supposed to be a short trip is delayed by as much as eleven years.
In 2012, real estate agent Xavier Lemercier finds an interesting artifact in a Paris apartment he sold - an ancient telescope. The telescope belonged to Guillaume Legendil. This discovery will start a chain of interesting events and changes in his life.
This novel by Lauren combines an exciting adventure and a modern touching love story.
