"Wandering through Tabor and Monasteries" by writer and artist Pavel Pepperstein is a novel, whose characters in the setting of a detective story travel to places and communities - both quite real and as if closed in the cocoon of their own reality. Here the characters split, and turning the page, you can get into a separate phantasmagorical plot and be carried away by a lively flow of words, carriages of synonyms, language play, ironic parodies, unexpected digressions, mosaic of literary and cultural references. And even the novel opens abruptly, quite in Kharmsov's spirit - with a fight with an old woman.
