The novel "Death of a Hero" by English writer and poet Richard Aldington (1892-1962) is an anti-war novel. It was created in 1929. The time of its action - the years of the First World War, in which the author himself participated. Aldington is considered one of the most important writers of the "lost generation", those who took part in the First World War, survived, but could not adapt to the peaceful course of life. The writer calls his work a "jazz novel," and its parts are titled with musical terms.
