The book by the famous historian of philosophy Arseniy Gulyga is dedicated to the outstanding German philosopher, a representative of German classical idealism. Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling developed early as a creative personality - at the age of 23 he was awarded the title of professor. Developing the principles of idealism, dating back to the ideas of Plato, Kant, Fichte, he developed a theory of objective-idealistic dialectics of nature as a living organism, an unconscious-spiritual creative principle. Schelling's views were reflected in the works of German romantic poets, had a great influence on the development of Russian philosophical thought in the first half of the 19th century.
