The third volume of the book project "Namedni. Our Era. 1981-1990" is devoted to a particularly eventful decade - the 80s. The era began with mourning marches at the funerals of general secretaries, and then accelerated into a crushing revolution. The elders from the Politburo, the food program, the book "Malaya Zemlya", socialist country stores, "The Irony of Fate", and Italian pop music were replaced by the rivalry between Gorbachev and Yeltsin, cooperative cafes, glasnost, German unification, "Little Vera" and "Interdevochka", and rock in the stadiums. The arrival of Rust, the authorization of photocopiers, the explosion of Chernobyl, the rehabilitation of the Church, TV bridges, jeans-"varenki", the fight against drunkenness, the first direct elections, the first strikes, the first "soap operas" and the first hostages, sugar coupons, Chumak and Kashpirovsky - the 80's again showed a stunning variety of forms of resilience of the Soviet man. The book contains more than 500 photographs, drawings, cartoons and other illustrations.
