One day, a sullen stranger arrives in the small town where Mulle Mek, his friends and neighbors live. It turns out to be none other than Benny Brambilla, the director of a world-famous circus. Since some time, his strength has waned and he has fallen into a black despondency. Instead of putting on fun, noisy shows, Benny Brambilla now quietly weaves baskets and sells them at the market. "At least they do some good," he says. The villagers are convinced that the sad old man can be helped. They just need to restore his faith in himself and his art. This idea so inspired all the townspeople that no one wanted to stay aside. Everyone rushed to do their part. Mulle Meck and his friends helped Benny Brambilla to revitalize his spirit and even set up his own circus school. At the same time, Mulle converted Benny's old car into an environmentally friendly electric car and built a trailer van to it so that the maestro could travel around the world and bring joy to people. The creators of the books about Mull Meck are the famous Swedish writer Georg Johansson, author of many children's books about science and technology, and no less famous illustrator Jens Album. The stories about the jack-of-all-trades, mechanic Mulla Mecca and his dog Buffet have been hugely popular with Swedish children for over 25 years. They love Mullet as much as the famous characters in Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales.
