Lyon Moiseevich Izmailov (born 1940) is a famous TV presenter, poet, writer, entertainer, one of the most popular satirists and humorists in our country. Member of the Writers' Union since 1979. Author of several collections of short stories and novels, including: "Good Mood" (1984), "Fraction of Truth" (co-authored with V. Chudodeyev, 1986), "Four Musketeers" (co-authored with V. Cheburov, 1989), "Pornoha" (1990), "Detour along the curve" (1992), "The End of the World, or Good Mood" (co-authored with Mikhail Zadornov). with Mikhail Zadornov, 1993), "Vasya! Shashlyk!" (a book of stories and memoirs about A. Mena, 1995), "Student from the culinary" (1991), "Jester with us" (1997). In 1998 his author's videocassette "Jester with Us" was published. Lyon Izmailov graduated from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters at the Goskino of the USSR (1973-1975) and wrote several plays "which were appreciated and therefore will never be staged". In 1973, 1977, 1979 he was awarded the "Golden Calf" prize of the "Literary Newspaper".
