Magnus Carlsen became world champion in 2013, but his enormous influence on the chess world began several years before that. For more than ten years, each of his games has been a source of knowledge for all other chess players. One book after another is published about him, but they cannot keep up with Carlsen himself, who supplies the chess world with new ideas and fresh strategic techniques from tournament to tournament.

This book analyzes Magnus's newest games, as well as those that have not received due coverage in the press before. In other words, this is the vanguard, the cutting edge of modern chess. Games with maximum methodological value were selected, games that improve the reader's level of play. For the same purpose - improving the reader's game - the games are collected in various topics, the comments give a lot of general advice, and not just possible specific moves, plans and strategic ideas are analyzed. The diagrams not only indicate whose move it is in the position, but the diagrams themselves also indicate the key maneuvers of the pieces for each situation with arrows. This, according to the author, should make it easier to understand and remember the information.

The foreword by the honored trainer of the USSR, outstanding theoretician and chess philosopher, grandmaster Igor Zaitsev also adds value to the textbook.
