They say that the White Creator created the magical horse Desegei from heavenly rays, who knew only good and knew no evil. Then came the three-faced blacksmith Kudai, who extolled beauty and knew perfectly well where good was and where evil was. A little later, people of Desegei's lineage began to be born on Orto—the Sakha people with solar reins slung over their backs, heirs to Kudai's craftsmanship.
