Every story has its time. Especially a love story.
Cambridge, 2005. Joe Green, a struggling student and even less successful poet, dreams of a glorious future where his poetry is known to all. And suddenly, that future finds him.
Joe bumps into Easy, who has arrived from 2044 as part of a tour group. The topic of the tour? The great poet Joseph Green and his love poems dedicated to a certain Diana Dartnell, their Cambridge classmate.
However, Easy herself isn't interested in poetry, and the tour isn't an end in itself, but a means: at this time and place, an event will occur that she desperately wants to prevent, to change the future. So predestination doesn't exist? Does that mean the muse—the love of his life—and the poems that made Joe famous, and the crowds of admirers can vanish with any careless action? Neither Joe nor Easy knows the answer, but they decide to help each other. Gradually, the young people become closer, and Joe no longer understands what he really wants: to absolutely not rewrite the old story, or, at his own peril and risk, to try to write a completely new one?
