"The Chronicle of the Life and Work of A.S. Pushkin" (compiled by N.A. Tarkhova) belongs to the genre of a reference monographic publication common in Russian literary studies. The book has a large and high-quality reference apparatus, contains five annotated indexes:
1) Bibliographic, it indicates all the sources used and provides their conventional designations;
2) Name index, in which information about people is indicated at the time of their communication with Pushkin;
3) Index of Pushkin's works;
4) Geographical;
