The illustration of the dust jacket is different from the illustration on the book.
The Dark One, the center of universal evil, once imprisoned by the Creator in the mountainous prison of Shayol Gul, managed to put a spell on the world, and the people who could use the Unified Power and perform great deeds with its help plunged the world into a catastrophe, which was called the Fracture of the World. That was the end of the Age of Legends, and only myths remained from the past in human memory.
And how could Rand, Perrin or Matt, a trio of inseparable friends from a remote village lost in the woods, have thought that the myths would soon become flesh, and they themselves would find themselves at the center of events, the outcome of which will depend on the fate of people on earth.
In this edition, the texts of the novels that made up the famous epic "Wheel of Time", revisited and corrected. The novel "The Eye of the World" is supplemented by the author's introduction, previously untranslated.
