Emotional imagery therapy is a new Russian method of psychotherapy belonging to the psychodynamic direction. The target of this method is chronic negative emotional states. Since all feelings are experienced in the body and correlate with somatic symptoms, working with images of these somatic states allows us to realize the psychological causes of a particular psychosomatic symptom, as well as effectively solve psychosomatic problems. The book reflects many years of experience in the application of techniques and methods of emotion-image therapy in working with psychosomatic problems. The book can be considered as a textbook, designed primarily for psychologists who are followers of the EFT method. It may also be of interest to practicing psychologists, psychotherapists, students of psychological and medical universities and anyone interested in practical psychology.
