Stan and Joy Delaney, once famous tennis players, have four grown children who, despite appearing successful, suffer from childhood traumas caused by rivalry on the tennis court and competition for their parents' attention. Their jealousy of their parents is further exacerbated when a strange young woman named Savannah suddenly appears in the house and Joy begins to see her as the perfect daughter she has always dreamed of....
