Nikolai Yaremenko is a renowned and influential journalist. He headed the popular sports radio station Radio Sport during its golden years (2007–2013); was the editor-in-chief of the country's premier sports media outlet, Sovetsky Sport newspaper (2016–2023), having relaunched the long-running brand and breathed new life into it. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the sports department of the Moscow 24 television channel.
