Niccolò Machiavelli is one of the most famous figures of the Renaissance. His treatise "The Prince" is essentially a guide to statecraft.

This treatise by the Florentine political theorist and statesman Niccolò Machiavelli was written around 1513 but published only in 1532, five years after the author's death.
The book is based on the author's observations of the political management methods of his era and an analysis of ancient historical examples. Based on this data, he was able to formulate and combine information on the state and its governance into a single treatise. Many of the Florentine thinker's conclusions are still relevant today.
