German-Polish Cooperation and Soviet Policy in East Central Europe (1930-1939)

The topic of the book is relevant to the territorial changes in the east of Central Europe (Central-Eastern Europe - CEE) at the end of the twentieth century. Many problems originate from the geopolitical transformation of the region in the 1930s. But while the book, published by Political Encyclopedia Publishing House in 2019, focused on Soviet-German relations in the 1920s, the core of the new work is German-Polish cooperation against the background of Nazi expansion in CEE and the USSR's policy in the region. Germany entered into bilateral treaties with neighboring states that were used to undermine Soviet efforts to create a system of collective security. The book is largely historical and documentary in nature. It analyzes the role of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Bolsheviks) in directing foreign policy and the actions of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs. The author concludes that the foreign policy of the USSR had geopolitical continuity in the 1930s. The publication is addressed to historians and history buffs.
