Four Tsarevnas and a Tsarevich - the royal children of the holy family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. Contemplative and romantic, but sometimes hot-tempered Olga; active and strong-willed, but somewhat secretive Tatiana; kind-hearted and sympathetic Maria; witty and nimble prankster Anastasia; their brother - the Heir to the throne Alexei, in whom boyish mischief was so naturally combined with a clear awareness of his high destiny... They were so different in character - and so united in their love and devotion to each other and to their crowned parents Nikolai Alexandrovich and Alexandra Feodorovna. They truly were an example of a strong Orthodox family, which to this day can serve as a role model for all of us. Their need for unity was so strong that if someone suddenly fell ill and was isolated, the rest of the family would send him short notes, testifying to their sympathy and prayerful support. They even died on the same day - all seven of them. And so - in unity - they were glorified by the Lord in the face of holy passion-bearers.

In March 1917, when the family of the overthrown Emperor by the perjurers was already under house arrest in Tsarskoye Selo, Archpriest Afanasy Belyaev confessed the Tsar's children and, amazed by the purity of their young souls that was revealed to him, made the following entry in his diary: "May God grant that all the children will be as morally high as the children of the former Tsar. Such kindness, humility, submission to the parental will, unconditional devotion to the will of God, purity in thoughts and complete ignorance of earthly dirt - passionate and sinful."

The proposed book introduces the reader to each of the Tsar's children - both together and separately. It is based on the diary entries and letters of the Royal Passion-Bearers and numerous memoirs of contemporaries who closely knew the holy Royal Family.
