On the anniversary of his wife Hannah's death, Dr. Michael Everett received her suicide letter. In the message, she reminded Michael of her sincere love for him and asked him to fulfill her last wish. A seemingly impossible wish. Hannah wanted Michael to marry again. She even gave him a list of possible brides. The first two women were well known to Michael: Hannah's cousin Winter Adams, the owner of a small cafe in Seattle, and Lynn Lancaster, the nurse who looked after Hannah at the clinic. The name of the third candidate was new to Michael: Macy Rose. Meeting each of these women, each with a wealth of spiritual experience, Michael learned more and more about himself. Thus, he came to understand that only boundless love could fill his life with meaning again.
