White Lakes. Night is also the sun. Tangerines for Helen. Volume 1
29.99 €
Mikhail Pak's works "White Lakes" and "Night Is Also the Sun" are set in the 1990s, when the collapse of the USSR left the country in ruin. The main characters—an artist and a poet—witnesses of that tragic time who, despite everything, pursue their destiny. The novel "Tangerines for Helen" is the story of a young man, Kang Sowol, who returns to his homeland of Korea from a long assignment in Ethiopia. He ends up on Jeju Island, where he is assigned to work in a tangerine orchard, but in his thoughts, he returns again and again to Africa.
