The book describes the most accessible features of Unity to control game objects, effects, events, animations and game interface. The game "engine" Unity is more complicated than Roblox, but the basics of Unity, allowing you to create high-quality and interesting 3D-games, are quite accessible to the understanding of a schoolboy who has already taken a "young fighter course" in Roblox.
The book is well illustrated - without it it is impossible to clearly describe the new knowledge. The scripts given in the book contain detailed line-by-line comments. If readers have minimal programming experience, it will be enough not only to understand C# scripts, which most of them will encounter for the first time, but also to confidently use these scripts in their own computer games. Before writing the book, the author analyzed many very different (print, electronic, and YouTube) publications on game development in Unity. The analysis allows us to conclude that the new book describes the basics of Unity 3D in a more complete, more systematized and much clearer way, which makes it accessible for self-study from the age of twelve. In essence, the book is a step-by-step "guidebook", containing both clear instructions for learning the basics of Unity3D and detailed help on the properties and parameters of each of the described Unity components.
