The conflict between England and France in the 14th century resulted in the Hundred Years' War, with robberies and violence raging across Europe. On Easter morning in 1342, crossbowmen led by a man with the "devilish name" of Harlequin burst into the English village of Hookton and steal a relic from the temple - rumor has it that it is none other than the Holy Grail... The son of the abbot who died in the battle, the young archer Thomas, unaware that he is related to Harlequin by blood, vows to avenge the murdered and return the lost treasure, which he sets off for France to retrieve. However, those in power have no intention of giving up the relic to a commoner - it could grant victory in the war. Wandering in search of treasure across once fertile, now scorched lands, the hero finds himself in the realm of the Black Death - the plague. He enters into a fight with religious fanatics, saving the beautiful Genevieve from the fire, and thereby makes new enemies, who declare a hunt for him...

Historical novels "Harlequin", "Wanderer", "Heretic" about the English archer Thomas of Hookton - in one volume.
