Druss is the last remaining human in Linvenogre, a city inhabited by two races that are completely different from humans. Druss's brother is killed by a strange physical phenomenon, and Druss soon discovers that it could lead to the destruction of the city itself and the death of all who inhabit it. In an attempt to stop the catastrophe, he embarks on an amazing journey through an endless succession of both beautiful and monstrous worlds in which it is difficult to remain himself. And on Earth, different people, strangers to each other, meet mysterious and sinister artifacts older than mankind itself, radically changing everything around them. And it's all interconnected, and each reality affects the others.
This is a labyrinth novel, a mystery novel. It is woven from many micro-stories, from hundreds of details that are twisted into one big plot. Here every detail is important, here before the reader appears an incredible number of diverse, unlike anything else worlds, peoples, tales and ideas, and every sentence can be a key to understanding the bizarre multidimensional space in which fantasy and horror, alternative reality and science fiction, "new weird" and surrealism are intertwined. This is Onicromos, a book the likes of which you've never seen before.
