The main character of the fairy tale by the famous Norwegian poet, writer and composer Alf Prøysen is a Goat who has learned to count to ten. He can't wait to put his knowledge into practice, so during his walk he assigns ordinal numbers to everyone he meets along the way: "One is me, two is the Calf, three is the Cow. One, two, three!" The characters counted by the Goat, due to their ignorance, take offense and want to punish the Goat for his arbitrary behavior at all costs. The company of the disgruntled increases with each page of the book. They run after the Goat, intending to beat him (or make him sensible) so that he will not be allowed to infringe on the personal freedom of citizens in the future.
