Muammar Gaddafi's "Green Book" has become one of the most striking and original works in the history of mankind. Today it is known in Russia and China, the USA and Europe, Japan and the Arab countries. The work is a programmatic theoretical work, which examines the ideological foundations of the development of not only Libya, but of all mankind. The author contrasted his concept with two dominant ideologies - "atheistic communism" and "materialistic capitalism". In contrast, the "third world theory" was to become a universal platform, and therefore claiming absolute truth. It was based on a symbiosis of socialist ideas and the principles of Islam. Gaddafi's book consists of three parts, which examine the problems of democracy and economics, as well as social aspects. In particular, the work covers the problems of public legislation, wages, production management and other issues. It is more relevant than ever these days, when there is an active search for new ways of social development. All three parts of the Green Book were first printed in Tripoli between 1976 and 1979.
