On-Line Systems, founded in 1979 by husband and wife Ken and Roberta Williams and later to become Sierra On-Line, is one of the first computer game companies. It once dominated the market and gathered thousands of professionals within it and around it a huge fanbase that still exists today.
Sierra published games:
- Half-Life;
- King's Quest;
- Gabriel Knight;
- Space Quest;
- Phantasmagoria;
- Leisure Suit Larry.
In the end, however, nothing saved Sierra On-Line from collapse.
Founder Ken Williams takes you behind the scenes to tell the story of Sierra On-Line's rise and fall. You'll encounter successful business decisions, inspiring victories, scandals, conflicts, stories of corruption, and ultimately, the company's demise as the market leader in computer games.
