Wilhelm Hauff (1802–1827) was a German writer and short story writer who became famous throughout the world for his fairy tales full of adventure and wonder. This edition includes seventeen of Hauff’s tales and one of his sayings. Romantic and Helen Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) was an English children’s writer and artist. In 1902, her “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” was first published. Since then, Beatrix began regularly publishing her new children’s books. Beatrix Potter’s tales are now translated into many languages and published in numerous editions. This edition includes twenty-three fairy tales about Peter Rabbit and many other characters created by Potter. The text is translated by Sergei Yuryevich Afonkin.
