The book is the nineteenth volume of the series dedicated to the White Movement in Russia, and describes the military operations of the armies of the Supreme Ruler of Russia, Admiral A.V. Kolchak in Eastern Russia from the fall of 1918 to November 1919, that is, from Kolchak's accession to the post of Supreme Ruler of Russia to the beginning of the Great Siberian Ice Campaign.
Among the authors of this volume are Generals P.P. Petrov and K.V. Sakharov, whose memoirs, along with a description of combat operations, analyze the political and revolutionary situations of the time and analyze the reasons for the defeat of the White Cause.
