The proposed teaching aid was developed and written by scientists, clinical psychologists working with children and developing their own model of teaching children with ASD since the 80s of the 20th century.
The book presents modern scientific data on the influence of ASD on processes in the brain, the main sources and elements of the Denver model of early intervention, describes in detail the processes of writing short-term and long-term goals for the child's development, clearly presents methods for teaching the skills of imitation, play, non-verbal and verbal communication, as well as teaching in a group setting.
The appendix to the book provides a list of target skills for building a curriculum, an Assessment System for Compliance with Teaching Methods and a list of games. Recommended for specialists involved in teaching children with ASD, supervisors, instructors, parents and students of defectological, psychological and pedagogical faculties of universities. All programs are adapted for teaching in Russian.
