Volume 1
This book reflects themes most characteristic of the thought of Vladyka Anthony (a physician and natural scientist by training): matter and spirit, life and death, faith and doubt, man's relationship with God, their encounter, and God's path in the world. The book contains an extensive bibliography of Metropolitan Anthony's works, commentary, a subject and name index, and numerous photographs.
Volume 2
The second volume of the "Works" of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh (1914-2003), now in its third edition, deeply introduces the reader to life according to the Gospel and the life of the Church in the modern world. The book is composed primarily of speeches and talks by Vladyka Anthony, either never published or published in editions long since unavailable to readers. It is intended for a wide range of readers. Although the content of the second book expands and deepens many of the themes raised in the first, each volume stands on its own. The book contains an extensive bibliography of Metropolitan Anthony's works, commentary, a thematic and personal index, and numerous photographs.
Volume 3
The third volume of the "Works" of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh (1914-2003) is dedicated to the Church: its mysterious inner life, the relationships of its members with each other and with society as a whole, and the answers the Church offers to the questions of the outside world. The book is composed primarily of speeches and conversations by Metropolitan Anthony, published for the first time. Some texts were published in editions that are no longer available to the reader. The book contains an extensive bibliography of Metropolitan Anthony's works, commentary, a thematic and personal index, and is richly illustrated with photographs.
