Book 1. Interpretation of the Acts of the Holy Apostles – Professor Dimitry Bogolepov.
According to the author, this book briefly presents “a picture of the complete, consistent and continuous course of apostolic history.” This reveals to the reader both the action of God’s grace and the actions of God’s co-workers – the apostles, who fulfill His will: go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit...
The proposed book is printed according to the “Guide to the Explanatory Reading of the Four Gospels and the Book of Acts of the Apostles” (5th edition, Moscow, 1910).
The author divides the narrative into themes and parts, and their expanded thesis content allows readers to easily navigate the events described.

Book 2. Interpretations of the Cathedral Epistles – Bishop Mikhail Luzin.
The second volume consists of the Interpretations of the Council Epistles by the eminent theologian Bishop Mikhail Luzin (1830–1887).
Bishop Mikhail graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy, received the title of professor at the age of 29, and was appointed rector of the MDA in 1876. In 1878 he was consecrated Bishop of Uman. He was rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy. From 1883 – Bishop of Kursk.
His contemporaries especially revered him for his works on the interpretation of the Holy Scripture. His Interpretations of the Holy Gospel and the Apostle went through several editions before the revolution.
The Church calls the seven epistles written by the holy apostles Peter, John, James, and Jude Council Epistles, since these epistles were addressed to the entire Church at that time and resolved the most important issues of its spiritual structure. Explanations of the texts of the Epistles, the circumstances that prompted their writing, and the questions facing the Church help to understand the thoughts of the Apostles more deeply and accurately. And the expanded Contents prepared by the publishing house guides the reader as to where to find an interpretation of the topic of interest.

Books 3–4. Interpretations of the Epistles of the Apostle Paul In 2 volumes – Saint Theophan the Recluse.

The two-volume work is a condensed summary of the works of Saint Theophan the Recluse on the interpretation of the 14 Apostolic Epistles. According to Saint Theophan the Recluse, they narrate “the heights of Christian revelation, or Gospel truth, with an exposition of how it is being established on earth.” Here, according to the works of Saint Apostle Paul, the entire dispensation of God for the salvation of fallen humanity is consistently reviewed.
Saint Theophan himself called his interpretations conversational; he constructed them as a lengthy conversation with the reader and not only followed the Apostle verse by verse, but divided the text into parts, sections, chapters with clear and precise formulations... The interpretation is largely based on excerpts from the works of the Holy Fathers. Saint Theophan explained the necessity of this as follows: "...That there are many excerpts is because according to the law in our Orthodoxy, that which is firm is that which is based on the Holy Fathers."
