Stalin's Secret Policy was first published in 2001. Since then, a considerable number of previously inaccessible archival documents have been declassified. Hundreds of new works have also appeared, containing many original and profound thoughts, assessments and judgments on various aspects of Soviet national policy. In this connection, the idea arose to thoroughly revise the old edition, using newly discovered facts and the latest achievements of historical science. In carrying out a radical revision of the old text, the author not only clarified many things in it and eliminated the errors that had once been made, but also substantially supplemented the content with new stories and thoroughly rethought a number of previous interpretations and conclusions. At the same time, everything possible was done to ensure that this version of "Stalin's Secret Policy" was as clear and interesting as possible to a wide range of readers, all not indifferent to the tragic, but still remarkable recent past of our country. In a sense, this monograph is an academic response to A. I. Solzhenitsyn's two-volume "Two hundred years together".
