This book tells about the most "ancient" and at the same time the most little-known units of the Luftwaffe. They were not part of air fleets, air corps and squadrons, and their pilots did not enjoy such fame as the pilots of fighters, Ju-87 attack aircraft, bombers and even reconnaissance aircraft. These units, which operated not only from the territory of Germany and occupied countries, but also neutral (like Spain), and completely "no man's" and "dark" territories, have never been written about in detail in Russian literature. And this despite the fact that it was these squadrons and "aviation posts", receiving orders not from Goering and Hitler, but from various little-known structures of the Third Reich, that provided most of the known operations on land, at sea and in the air, determining the success of many battles. The scope of tasks carried out by the units, hiding under the "modest" name of Wekusta, was astounding: exploration of uninhabited islands, fighting partisans, supporting the operations of the German fleet, creating secret air bases for German aircraft, night reconnaissance, attacks on various pinpoint targets, etc. The book, which is a continuation of the theme of secret operations of the Third Reich, tells about incredibly dramatic flights, air battles and other adventures in the spirit of the novels of Jules Verne.
