A collection of articles, speeches and interviews by the famous economist, historian, philosopher and politician Pyotr Berngardovich Struve (1870–1944) contains 125 texts dated from March 1917 to November 1920. P. B. Struve, the former author of the RSDLP Manifesto and editor of the illegal journal Osvobozhdenie, stood at the origins of the Volunteer Army during the Revolution and Civil War, edited Velikaya Rossiya, one of the leading newspapers in the White South, and was the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Crimean government of P. N. Wrangel. In his articles and speeches, most of which are being republished for the first time, Struve appears before us both as a scholar who deeply analyzes current events and as a politician who was in the thick of the struggle. The book is intended for both specialists and a wide range of readers interested in the history of Russia.
