The collection of works of the famous politician and publicist V. V. Shulgin (1878-1976) includes his articles from the newspaper "Kiyevlyanin" for 1917 about the events he witnessed and participated in. This layer of the author's journalistic heritage after centuries of oblivion becomes available to the reader. Some articles by Ekaterina Grigoryevna (1879-1934), the first wife of V. V. Shulgin, who published in "Kiyevlyanin" under the pseudonym A. Ezhov, are also reprinted as an appendix.
The book also includes V. V. Shulgin's memoirs "Days", published for the first time with detailed comments. The book is supplemented with a large number of photographs, images of postcards and satirical drawings of the revolutionary year, allowing the modern reader to fully experience this critical time. The collection continues the project to republish Shulgin's journalistic and memoir heritage, which included the collections "Russia, Ukraine, Europe" (Posev, 2015) and "1920. Essays. Three Capitals (the first complete edition in Russia)" (Posev, 2016). The publication is intended for a wide range of readers.
