The Romanov family belongs to the ancient families of Moscow boyardom. Its representatives were autocratic rulers more than 300 years: from February, 1613 till March, 1917. There were 18 monarchs in the Romanov family, during whose reign our Fatherland experienced great and tragic pages of its history. After revolution the big Romanov's family including in 1917 more than 60 persons, has broken up. Eighteen of them died in the years of revolution, the rest of them managed to leave the Motherland in different ways. Now Romanovs and their descendants live in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Great Britain, the USA, Canada, Uruguay. But wherever they lived, in their hearts kept their love for Russia. Now many of them are returning home. Their story continues. The book recreates the "collective biography" of this family from the accession to the throne of Mikhail Fedorovich to the present day. The combination of genealogical, biographical and bibliographical information, which gives it a reference character, and "live", written in a popular science style essays about the representatives of the dynasty gives the publication a special value. The book will be of interest to a wide readership.
