30 years ago, the parliament was shot at in Moscow. Shot with 125-mm cumulative shells. Tank shots opened the way for the wild capitalism of oligarchs and feudal lords. Russia was washed in blood. In the wake of that tragedy, a book by the famous politician and writer, then member of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation Anatoly Greshnevikov was published in Yaroslavl, the new, third edition of which was published for the 30th anniversary of the national tragedy.
Memory and only memory prompted the deputy of all convocations (along with the shot parliament) from the Yaroslavl land to write a book unique in its material and truthful in detail about the tragic events of September-October 1993. This is the memory of those who, together with the author, fulfilled their constitutional and civic duty during the two-week siege of parliament, who put Honor and Dignity above their own lives and laid down their lives... Not a single name of the fallen hero, not a single sigh of theirs, not a single minute of the fighting parliament, as A.N. Greshnevikov believes, can be given over to the desecration and slander of immoral scribblers and anti-national politicians... Those who shot at the Supreme Soviet were aiming at Russia, seeking to plunder its spiritual and natural resources. The result of that bloody confrontation is the creation of a corrupt, oligarchic government that is robbing the country to this day.
